Custom Design

Consult with David for your order of any jewelry, small sculptures, awards, company or association logos, and presidential pins.  Carvings and sculptures are available in gold, silver, platinum, and bronzes in wearable art sizes and up to 18" free standing bronzes.

The jewelry design process at Gold Works typically goes through three stages:

Stage 1: The customer either chooses a Gold Works design, brings an existing one for replication or sends us a sketch of the concept.

Stage 2: A wax model of the design is produced. Customers near Gold Works come to the shop to view the wax model. For distant enthusiasts, we send .jpg files of the wax model through email.

Stage 3: Once the wax model is satisfactory, Gold Works begins the actual jewelry work. Many of our customers come to our premises and watch us craft their piece. They walk away with a prized possession and a lifetime of memories.

Continually upgrading the technology at Gold Works, David has a kept a keen edge on the market by introducing virtual jewelry design to his shop. As shown below, pieces can be designed with the help of both Rhino 3D and Gem Vision Matrix in CAD.CAM software.

 

Jewelry Repair Services

Jewelry repair services are offered at Gold Works with reasonable rates. Repair your old jewelry and restore the love and passion it has absorbed over the years. Gold Works jewelry repair service offers full repairs in 10K, 14K, 18K, Platinum, Palladium and Sterling Silver, including Diamond and gemstone replacement, tips and prongs, stone setting, chain repair, pendant and earring repair, ring sizing, re-plating and pearl restringing. Contact us to repair your jewelry.

Watch Repair Services

David is skilled at replacing all kinds of batteries in watches. Usually, he can replace the battery in your watch within 15 minutes although we request that you leave your watch with us in the event we are busy. He also does link removal, pin replacement, band replacement and adjustments. For everything else we have an excellent local watch repair man that we work with.
